9. THE FORCE AWAKENS
this is indeed the worst star movie of all time in my opinion and it was all started because of one man jj abrams
he ruined the film as the director of the movie and the whole film feels like a waste of trashful star wars movies
but the one thing that was good about the film was john williams music i liked rey theme and kylo ren theme
but it was really heartbreaking to see ben kill his own father han solo why would anyone want to kill off han solo in star wars
8. RETURN OF THE JEDI
return of the jedi is an okay star wars film but not as good as the other star wars movies it is better then the force awakens
but you know it was released in 1983 allthough i will say it does not beat the empire strikes back
or the other star wars films on this list
7. THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK
we all remember the classic line in the movie when han tells leia he loves her before being put into carbon freeze
that line is iconic for a lot of reasons and one of the reasons why it is inconic is because han and leia have a love story
in this film both characters are played by carrie fisher and harrison ford who would go on to reprise their roles in the force awakens
but if you know why the empire strikes back is good it because you get darth vader theme and yoda who was present in the prequels
6. THE PHANTOM MENACE
star wars the phantom meance started the nine film star wars franchise but it famous for it duel of the fates theme in which two jedi knights
battle a sith lord known as darth maul while the story for the film feels a little bit rushed the phantom meance
does a good job in making liam nesson like look a badass jedi who can fight darth maul real good
but liam nesson does not surrive the movie and dies
5. ATTACK OF THE CLONES
attack of the clones is not rushed like the phantom meance and serves as a good love story between anakin skywalker and padme amdelia
it also shows us how good christopher lee acts as the evil count dooku and it hints at how anakin will become darth vader in revenge of the sith
dont get me wrong i like the phantom meance but attack of the clones is way better and is a better star wars movie
but i will not tell you what my number one star wars film is in this ranking of the best and worst star wars films
4. REVENGE OF THE SITH
revenge of the sith beats attack of the clones and the phantom meance because it serves as the perfect story arc
for anakin rise to the dark side and how he becomes darth vader in the film he becomes darth vader so he can save padme
from death but gets to greedy for power and ends up killing her at the end of the movie
it also is the first star wars film that gives order 66 the scene where the clone troopers betray the jedi they worked with and killed them
so that the sith could rule the galaxy forever
3. THE LAST JEDI
rian johnson star wars the last jedi was way better then the force awakens but not as good as number 2 on this list
serving as it own standalone movie the last jedi works it way through on this list beating all the other star wars films
it focuses on rey as she tries to get luke skywalker the son of anakin skywalker to come out of hiding
but luke does not come out of hiding instead he trains rey in the ways of the force and appears as a copy of himself during the battle of crait
to give the rebels time to evacuate the last jedi also serves as a good fairwell to carrie fisher princess leia though she was seen in the rise of skywalker
2. A NEW HOPE
okay so a new hope is perfect in every way and it never gets old released in 1977 and titled star wars
a new hope went on to launch the star wars film franchise and would later be called star wars a new hope
the film is the sequel to revenge of the sith and focuses on luke skywalker as he teams up with a mysterious jedi knight and smuggler han solo
to rescue his sister leia from the evil darth vader who plot twist was anakin skywalker a fallen jedi knight
- THE RISE OF SKYWALKER
the rise of skywalker is the best star wars movie of all time and it concluded the star wars saga
with an ending that sees rey declare herself as rey skywalker
